Iris Brosch has been busy working on a creative project for Venice Bienale. the festival involves creating 10 tables with 10 models in front of live spectators. Fashion meets art and art meets inspiration!

Iris has missed photographing black models so Iris took the opportunity to photograph Princess Rama for her new beauty project. The philosophy of Iris’ project is to capture a woman’s strength in beauty in her beautiful portraits.
The other element to Iris’ series of work for her project is combining a fashion element to the audience. Iris is keen to state about her celebration of the female form in relation to fashion and beauty – ”It is not only fashion that is beauty, it is the woman you are!”
Being a strong feminist, Iris is interested in making images of women which are not stereotyped. The fashion and adverting industry gives lots of limits to woman appearance and existence. In her personal work, she tries to give space to each woman with different shapes and background to be able to exist and be desirable.
This shoot is from the TV show ‘Austria’s Next Top Model’ and was aired this February. We uploaded a teaser of this shoot last month. Iris shot these beautiful photos underwater using some underwater housing and tube to help breath while taking them.
